help with triple tree

today i took the triple tree of to install tag risers for dirt bar set up. everything went well until i tried to put the triple tree back on, it keeps getting stuck on the middle hole. i was thinking about beating on it with a hammer or something but thought i might mess up the thread anyone got a better idea?

Re: help with triple tree

Take the weight off the front wheel/forks...Either use a jack under the exhaust or straps to pull the bike up a little

loose up your forks and wheel then try push it down ..if it aint work then your last choice is mallots rubber hammer.
