mine comes out the clutch side, honestly it doesnt really matter as long as the cable moves freely you might have to pull the clutch in and lean the bike over a bit but does that really matter!!!!!! NO

I just grab the clutch with my left hand, and use my right to adjust it

It's not a big deal, but personally, for me I hate reaching across the tank to adjust my idle level. If you run it out the right side you can easily adjust it without having to reach across your body and the gas tank. And, when I was first getting no throttle hand wheelies (which I still don't have 100%) during the wheelie I would reach down and adjust the idle cable to see what RPM range I liked and where I felt more comfortable. Reaching across your body is just a pain in the ***, that's my only reasoning behind it.

Well your just TOO good if your adjusting idle DURING your wheelie :YEAH :YEAH

All I can think of on no handers is "let go of bars, OH **** IM GONNA LOSE IT OH **** IM GONNA LOSE IT OH **** I DIDN'T LOSE IT, grab back on"

Re: 03 600rr Mods Which Ones Are Best

Trust me, I'm NOT too good at all. I've managed to lock down 2 WHOLE CIRCLES in my days of stuntriding. Doesn't really help either that I can count on my fingers and toes how many times I rode last year and this year I haven't stunted ONCE!!! But after I'm done flipping this house with my bro and dad, it's going to be on all summer long.

*Ps... It's not NO handers, it's just no throttle hand... I'm still holding on with my left hand saying "OH **** I'M GONNA LOSE IT, OH **** I'M GONNA LOSE IT"

Got ya man...I was just wondering if maybe it would eventually bind up or something. I have already done the idle mod on my 6 so was just checking. I actually used a 900rr cable, bc I had one off my old 9 hundo. Good luck with the no handers, and cirlces. Im no circle expert by far, but they are the death of me.

I would have never known if you didn't open your mouth!

I only have 2 circles consistent, with the occasional 3+ and once in a blue moon 5+ circles

The clean air mod is necessary because, when not if, you drop your bike, Oil will pour into the air box, then suck into your motor..

Which at worst, can lock the cylinders up, causing you to snap a rod, and blow your motor..

Or, it'll just lock up the motor, and you'll have to pull the spark plugs to get the oil out, then clean up all the oil thats all over your bike and garage.

Or if you get lucky, it'll just get a little oil into the cylinders, and your bike will just smoke for a lil while..

Best bet is to do the $2 mod, and KNOW your motor is good when you drop it..

Not only that, but you get more low end torque, and increase the power of the bike..

It's a must for anyone that stunts..

edit: But honestly, after reading your post, and looking at your avatar.. I wouldn't worry about the clean air mod.
Your doing wheelies without a helmet, and you don't even do idle wheelies???

You will be dead long before you ever get good at stunting..

Put me in your will.. I'd love a wrecked 600rr!

yup when I was a total squid

When I was doing power spreaders/ power high chairs on my f4i with only a helmet on.. And riding like a idiot

Hell, I used to woods race, without a helmet! Now I wont even ride in the dirt at ALL without a helmet.. Just not worth it

Then I grew up (a little) realized the error of my ways, and now you wont even catch me on a 50 without a helmet..

I'd never ride a sport bike without a helmet.. I can see on a dirt bike/quad/50 on OCCASION... But while learning on a 50/quad/db.. I'd ALWAYS wear a helmet..

I took a peg to my skull once on the 50.. Luckly with a helmet.. Doubt i'd be alive without it!
Cracked the helmet...

It's always that one time your not wearing a helmet, thinking you're in full control.. When you either **** up.. Or something on your bike ***** up..

Thats no lie. last month was the 1st time i went down on the street in the last 7 years, and i didnt have a helmet that day, bruised my scalp a bit, and i didnt even know until dude told me i was missing hair and bleeding. 2 weeks later, i drove by and seen another biker laying dead at the same intersection, no helmet, That was a messed up feeling because just a little harder and it could've been me!
The skull aint that tough, especially compared to the pavement.
