I tried to search it but...

I'd like a handbrake with the best bang for the buck. I've got a 99' F4 that I've already spent more on then the bike was originally worth. Cage, Steering damper, chain, sprocket (yeah, I'm geared, hate if you want), 12 bar and whatever else. This is my beginner bike and I don't want to choke up another $400-$500 for a hanbrake to put on this POS. I'm ready to learn SS but I won't do it without a handbrake. I just don't see any reason to crash if it is easily avoidable. How are the set-ups that just splice into the brakeline? HAI has two options like that. One is a beginner model and the other intermediate but I'm not sure what the difference is.

There are several current threads on this right now.

That's funny, you got me When I logged in the search option appeared. When I looked for it the first time it wasn't there. I'd like to order a HB tonight.

Re: I tried to search it but...

For me I'd just get the GP adapter for $185 on the website but I don't know if it is so junky that a little more money would be worth it.

Re: I tried to search it but...

First off. I dont use a handbrake on my Hondas, Only on the Zuma.

I heard that master may not be the best choice.

Personally I think the adapter would be fine but maybe with a different master

Im sure some will chime in soon letting you know what masters are good for an adapter setup, several people have masters and stuff for sale in classifeds right now.

Re: I tried to search it but...

you probly won't get many replies. not cause people don't wanna help, but cause you can only answer the same question so many times before your all answer out. i think people aren't using the search properly. just click on the arrow next to the search function, "advanced search" will drop down, then click on "advanced search", highlight "stunt discussion" and type watch you want to search in the far left top.
