Re: new throttle setup

that's the first time i've seen them. so this thing increases or decreases your throttle throw. don't know why anyone would want to decrease throttle throw , but seems like the larger throttle throw might help out on throttle control

decreasing your throttle throw is really popular for people who ride track/canyons

Re: new throttle setup

F4i throttle tube is already about as small as you can get on a 7/8 handlebar. I dont know how the kawis are, it might help on them.

what do you mean small? you wouldn't want to go smaller for stunt, you would want to go bigger.

anyway, i rode a someone's fiddy at the lot yesterday and realized those things got no throttle throw at all, it's like 1/2" from full open to close, so maybe it would help out the pitbikes

Re: new throttle setup

This is a multi - adjustable version of the 1/4 turn throttle....great for the track, bad for us. I have ridden a 50 with a 1/4 turn and it makes it more difficult to control the throttle input for wheelies as less input equals more output.

Cool product, but not for us.

Bigger throttle tubes = more touchy throttle
smaller throttle tube like the f4i = the longest and easiest pull

bikes like the R6 and R1, have a quarter turn throttle stock..
Whereas the f4i has the smallest tube, and has the longest throw..

I've never rode a 50 with anything but a 1/4 turn.. I thought that was pretty much all people ran with big bores
Whatever the case, 1/4 turn is perfectly easy to ride on a crf50.. Even my stage 3 88 with stock gearing

Re: new throttle setup

Just so people don't get too confused, when we are talking about throttle tube size in this thread, we are not referring to the tube diameter - we are referring to the disc size where the throttle cables attach to the tube
