Does this mean that even parking lots will no longer be safe? I live in cali and I dont think they take it beyond reckless driving and a ticket here still. But I dunno cause Ive never been caught with a wheel in the air.....

I am very expereienced with this being a FL native. But the laws have been in effect already that say that they can take you to jail and ceise & auction the bike off here in FL. I am a native and play all over central fl from st pete to orlando and they are pretty strict about it. We breed stunters here and the cops are tired of us doing wheelies down the highways and gettin killed. I have reverted to the lots to do my wheelies, and the most the cops can do is give a trespassing ticket. If you are not on a county owned road there is no law against "a wheelie" so no need to worry bout parkin lots. BUT BEWARE ON THA STREETS!

Fla cops ,are the absolute, biggest tool douche bag scum suckers on earth. They are soul-less robots ,alien like droids, out to arrest anyone but actual dangerous criminals. If you were to stop a mugging and club the assailent and save an old lady, the Fl. Pigs would drag you off to jail and let the mugger go have a brewski. FL. SUCKS GORRILLA DICK!!!!!!!!

I got pulled by three cops and an undercover one night, for "reckless" driving. They didn't arrest me though.

i seen this on another site about the fl laws, doent effect me much but i go to fla 2-3 times a year to ride. God next stuntwars is going to be a bike siezing party.

The newest wording removes the provision for treating a motorcycle differently than a car for speeding and puts the "heavy penalty" mark at speed-limit + 50 mph, making the heavy-penalty mark 120 mph on Florida's interstates in general ($1k fine the first time, $2500 + 1 year-loss-of-license the second time, forfeiture of vehicle + 10 year loss-of-license the third time).

Added into the revisions:

(A) Drag racing and speed exhibitions get harsher penalties (thank that idiot, Hulk Hogan's kid, for drawing it up); now even a adjudication of guilt on a charge still counts against you.

(B) The drivers-improvement classes cap changes to five within any 10 year period (previously was 3 per lifespan, then 5 per lifespan; keeps changing).

(C) Anyone who, convicted of a moving violation that also caused or contributed to the serious bodily injury of a motorcyclist (rider or passenger), has to pay at least $500 fine AND serve a minimum of 30 days in prison AND lose their license for 30 days

(D) Anyone who, convicted of a moving violation that also caused or contributed to the death of a biker (rider or passenger), has to pay at least $1000 fine AND serve a minimum of 90 days in prison AND lose their license for 1 year AND have to attend a driver's improvement course before having their license restored.

(E) Bunch of other stuff that isn't very interesting, but if you want to read it all, you can find the version as of this afternoon (April 17th) here:

Yep, I never had trouble with cops being on lots. They only get pissed off when you endanger others by stunting on the streets. We even have cops coming out the the lots to watch sometimes. Of course, they are always LE guys that wanna give you **** for no reason!

Re: New Florida Bills for stunt riding! ! ! Must Read!

i think its time to set up a bill that: any cop speeding without the impression of an immediately visible emergency (signified by the lights and sirens the patrol car in question is this equipped with) shall obey all traffic laws under penalty of the same rules, guidelines and statutes that all civilian drivers are governed by.
