Stunt fest 2008

New format

Ok people here is the deal,



EVENTS FOR 2008:

* We are switching things up a little bit this year. We are always looking to improve Stunt Fest for both Fans and Riders. To make things more exciting we are bringing back Stunt Course. The problem with a bunch of the old competitions is that they are not very exciting to watch. We are looking for the ultimate comp. Witch means it has to be exciting to watch, technical and very competitive for the riders. On top of that it has to be 100% accurate when it comes to judging. Individual Freestyle gives us the best Stunt Rider, but the Ultimate Stunt Course will give us the best Street Rider.... The man that takes away the grand prize bike this year, will be the Best rider period..

Main Events:
- Ultimate Stunt Course
- Individual Freestyle

Secondary Events:
- Fastest Wheelie
- Target stoppie

only the main events count towards the bike give-away…

*Only one number will be given out to each rider this year, this means only one bike can be used all weekend.. This will make every comp fair for everyone, specially for the riders with only one bike..

*Bike inspection / sprocket marking – we will be checking bikes for general safety this year to follow the new sanctioning bodies guidelines.. we will also be marking sprockets, no sprockets can be switched thew-out the weekend…
Remember we are making the comps as fair as possible..


Judging:

-Individual Freestyle- 
(the overall score will count towards IMSRA series champ)

will be judged as follows:



stunts:
combos = 10 points max
acrobatics = 10 points max

burnouts = 10 points max

stoppies = 10 points max

circles = 10 points max

wheelies = 10 points max

no handers = 10 points max



presentation = 30 points max
resulting from the below scores
sting = 10 points

smooth = 10 points

flow = 10 points


100 points total will be a perfect run.


crashing will result in a 10 point reduction for each time the rider or bike hits the ground..





-stunt course-

will be a timed event..
two riders will race back to back,(two separate but identical courses)
fastest time of the day will result in first place, then all other time behind will determine rest of places..

points awarded :
1rst = 100
2nd = 95
3rd = 90
all the way down to 10th place at 55 points.

Time deductions – for not completing wheelie, stoppie, burn out, or over bars agility…
Going off course – will result in disqualification.


-Top Rider of the weekend-
Grand Prize winner - 2008 gsxr will be based on the 100 points from Individual Freestyle and 100 points Stunt Course..

Its anybodies game this year..



Payouts for Cleveland - 15,000 dollars
top 8 places will get paid..

Thursday – open practice, stunt course will be set up for practice..
Street ride
Friday – open practice, stunt course will be set up for practice..
Party night
Saturday – am practice, Stunt Course main event, Stoppie Secondary event
Sunday – am practice, individual Freestyle main event, fast wheelie secondary event..

This year we want the fans to get involved,
We will have prize winning mini-comps for everyone.

- motorcycle agility course
- fifty races

All STUNT FEST events will be part of the new IMSRA series

Im going out for the cleveland show.It will be a blast.. Ill be on the bike every day tell then. Hey whats up with the jumps.. are they doubles or flat ground landing? am I sposta pull a super man over them or what? haha

 

Is it still scheduled for june 20-22nd? Or is it getting rescheduled since its the same week as XDL?

cleveland Stunt Fest has been the third weekend in june for the last 8 years...
and will be for the next 100 years..

I assume Longest Stoppie is no longer an event? If so, I hate to hear that cause watching Bill D float 1140 last year at Pittsburgh was sweet! Maybe you could make that an Exhibition/Third-dary event for anyone interested in giving it a go.
