Re: hohey triple on FF 636?

it has all stock clearances... as long as you run just clipons, it would work no problem FF. Put on the DB's you may have some clearance issues.

hell yeahhhh!! it works... i luv it to def... i am running a prototype on a 07 zx6r and it is hella nice...and it looks ****.... i am running stock turned out clip ons and a scotts dampner...also i have my front windscreen cut down to about 3 inches before the gauges...and the corners of the upper fairing are rounded...it fits fine for me... if you dont plan on cutting fairings it will touch the upper a bit but just adjust the clip ons back just a tad..and you are golden.... i surely would get it if i were you its a fine piece of work...and if you ever want to go db bars you are already ready for battle:YEAH :YEAH :YEAH :YEAH

Re: hohey triple on FF 636?

I just put the HoHey on my 05(flipped clipons).
I am using the Johnny P. stunt stay(havent mounted it up yet)
I am using full fairing( still in the paint booth-needs clear coat)

Ok so this thread was directly aimed at me but I could not help you.

And what is this Johnny P. stunt stay not clearing issue?

Re: hohey triple on FF 636?

i dont have a johnny p stunt stay though... i have a 905 racing stunt stay but i assume it will not have clearance issues cause it does not have the windscreen bar

Re: hohey triple on FF 636?

Heres my street bike with JohnnyP stay and OEM clipons tuned out...The throttle and handle bar swiches hit the upper before they hit my stay, its not a JohnnyP stay issue you, its a your upper it too long to do what you want issue...

If my stay gets in the way then you should have orderd a SHORT stay not a standard...The Standard length only works well with turned out clipons not flipped...If you want to flip them then any stay will probably get in the way, and its not only that you would have to cut your upper shorter too...

I run a short stay on my 03/04 and I can do whatever the **** I want with my bars and they clear everything, my buddy runs my short stay on his 05/06 and its the same we have alot of room to do anything we want...

Friend of mine has the Ho Hey on his 636, clipons pushed out. It barely touches the plasic on the upper

Mine starts to touch the plastic after my stay stops, so like I said is an issue with how long your upper is. I wanted to keep mine as stock as possible, so Im working with what room I have...These guys that want to turn and flip thier **** have to realize their going to have to cut their upper short for that....You cant have both turned and flipped with a stock length upper

Re: hohey triple on FF 636?

Yea, his is stock height. He just made some sort of stay and made it so it pushed the plastic out like 1/8" and his touching issues are completley gone

Thanks I got the 20mm Magura on my stuntbike now for front brakes too, and I bled it and cant believe how much differnt it is then the Brembo 19x20....The Magura 20mm is hard like a ****** rock and makes the Brembo 19x20 feel like a 16mm....Im scared to try my first stoppie with it.

I tell people to feel it and every single person is like WTF is so hard!

Re: hohey triple on FF 636?

I put a clutchside Magura 13mm for my handbrake and I wish I would have done it a looooong time ago. So much better than my Brembo.
