Moving to San Deigo, scared

(diego)

MN sucks, plain and simple. It's going to be hard to turn professional if I can't stunt ******* 4 months out of the year. I have two friends that stunt and are planning on moving with me. How's the job situation looking out there? I know buying houses are expensive but renting with a few buddies seems manageable, 500ish/month?

I'm really scared to do this, leave the family and friends behind but 80 and sunny with no humidity sounds right up my alley. Any of you just pack your **** up and move? any advice?

Plans........buy a hitch for my wrx and a small trailer and haul my bike, bed, and booze with me. buy a Glock. anything else? maybe a 3k loan to tide me over?

I woulda been in FL 2 years ago but I have joint custody and my 6 yr old son lives 1/2 mile away and I see him 5 days a week. NY also sucks just practiced for 2 hours in 50mph wind gusts, 35 or so degrees.
At least my stoppies went left this time

unless you have a special skill jobs hunting is hard. you can find a house for about 1500 a month but not in deigo. we ride all year round tho maybe 10 days out of the year because of rain thats about it

Re: Moving to San Deigo, scared

don't know much about san diego...

out here in the valley, (LA), 1 bedroom apartments are around $1,000/month + utilities.

but one of my buddies rented a 4-bedroom house with 2 of his buddies and is only paying 500 per month.

i would check out LA or san diego's craigslist for rent prices, u can look for jobs there too. check out the erotic section while ur there

From what I hear,San Diego, has been reclaimed by Mexico .I would be absolutely terrified to move there. massive gang activity ,and cops will shoot and taze first, cuff and stuff your limp corpse second.Florida sucks monkey nuts now too. America went down the ******* big time.Cops are pulling all sportbikes over now at first site. and checking for endorsment on licence. using improper tag mountings and other nit pick bullshit as excuse to violate civil rights.I really ******* hate cops nowadays.

Re: Moving to San Deigo, scared

It all depends on where exactly you move in SD. Saying SD is like saying LA, people use that term to encompass a rather large area. As with most places, there are cheap and expensive areas inside of each.

Where I live (20 minutes North of downtown LA) it's a pretty posh area and I pay 1750 + utils for rent for a 2br 1 ba house with a 1 car garage. You can move a couple of miles north west and pay 1400 + utils for the same thing.

But regardless, don't be scared, pack your **** and move and enjoy life - you'll figure out the other **** as you go, and be just fine.

Re: Moving to San Deigo, scared

and you think its gonna be easy to become pro out in cali? theres SO MANY good riders out here now tryin to "make it", it aint even funny. i live in north san diego and i gotta drive either a hour north or south to ride.

as far as rent, it all depends on where you go. i wouldnt recommend renting a place without a garage or your **** WILL get jacked. i rent a 4bd/3 bath for 2k a month in a pretty nice area. rent has been gettin cheaper lately.

$500 a month plus utilities would be about what youre lookin at, give or take

and yes, i would look on craigslist for jobs first. good luck bro. and if you do end up moving out here, hit me up.

wake up Americans!

Illegal Immigrants are enjoying benefits that you and I do not receive.

As legal residence and U.S. taxpapers we are supporting them.

And if we did not file annual tax returns....we would be jailed!

POEM - Illegal Immigrants

I cross ocean,
poor and broke,

Take bus,
see employment folk.

Nice man
treat me good in there,
Say I need
go see Welfare.

Welfare say,
"You come no more,

We send cash
right to your door."

Welfare checks,
they make you wealthy,

Medicaid
it keep you healthy!

By and by,
Got plenty money,

Thanks to you,
TAXPAYER dummy.

Write to friends
in motherland,

Tell them
'come, fast as you can'

They come in turbans
and Ford trucks,

I buy big house
with welfare bucks.

They come here,
we live together,

More welfare checks,
it gets better!

Fourteen families,
they moving in,

But neighbor's patience
wearing thin.

Finally, white guy
moves away,
. .
I buy his house,
and then I say,

"Find more aliens
for house to rent."

In my yard
I put a tent.

Send for family
they just trash,
.
But they, too,
draw welfare cash!

Everything is
very good,
Soon we own
whole neighborhood.

We have hobby
it called breeding,

Welfare pay
for baby feeding.

Kids need dentist?
Wife need pills?

We get free!
We got no bills!

TAXPAYER crazy!
He pay all year,
To keep welfare
running here.

We think America
darn good place!
Too darn good
for white man race.

If they no like us,
they can scram,
Got lots of room
in Pakistan.

PLEASE SEND THIS TO EVERY
U.S. TAXPAYER YOU KNOW!
