I've gone through two stockers in one season. They look and sound nice.. but they're so heavy and bulky that even cut all the way down to the exhaust hanger they pose problems. The fact that they're such a big can means every time you drop the bike that thing is dragging and bashing along the ground... and then being pulled off the headers.
I'm looking for a quality slip on too that I can hack down.

i left the stock can but i cut down the mid pipe so it's quiet and i still get all the low end torque....
as far as the pipe getting pulled off the hanger i just welded a tab on the header and i welded a tab on the mid pipe and bolted the two of them together,my pipe has not fallen aff since...

i think it actually looks better in real life , cell phone pic washes out the color and you can't see the chrome around the big stickers..
