its hard to explain without an xray but basically if the impact would of been like1/4 of an inch to left it would of broken his back probably leaving him paralyzed.. it wasnt a direct hit to the spine so it snapped off the 3 of the outer bones on the spine going up the spine due to impact.. He got really lucky..

i was just about to say that. i hope that icon spine protector did its job. i wear mine everytime i stunt. i was just watching his dvd last night AZ's finest. i should wear my hot sauce t-shirt tonight..get well soon bro

I had mine on when I flipped an endo....doc told me I would be paralyzed without it! I was still bruised all over my back and had other injuries, but I could walk home and I was glad for that.
wearing your gear pays off, especially with endoes!
