Different setups for different tastes..... Myself, I like the single piston, dual caliper setup... the 4 piston was a little too much for me.

I like to hold onto the clipon a little bit w/ my brake finger on the brake lever... so the increased power would always bring the front end down when I didn't want it to.

I think it's very cool that we have all these different options these days to tweak our hb's to exactly the way we want them... more/new options = more/new better riders.

I Know what you are talking about! I Used to always control the brake with my body weight as well..Well You know what I mean! Same with Ernie but if you could manage to hold on to the Clip ons without doing the Kinda Mashing the Hand Brake, It works So damn good retarded.

I Did the same you are talking about with it B4, I Hated to much power! Its kinda Different now! Anyways, YES......The More options for our HandBrakes the Merrier!

I'm still waiting for someone to adapt a front rotor onto the rear wheel for better heat dissipation (in conjunction with the 4 piston)

Re: HoHey brackets for 4 piston caliper

I think in order to be sucessful with any idea it has to adapt to all forms if possible.. with that said you dont need to have them all stocked however just availble for sale..
Hohey doesnt make a bracket with the 4piston for the 06-up gixxers6 or the R6 and I think it is important to have all just because the name behind the product(relieablity, service, etc) all means more to buyers or a group then the company...
Ie.. how many fly by night stunt companies have there been... 1 billion..

Whatever happens dont just make stuff for the popular bikes make them for all...
Just my 2 cents..

so when does one stop? After a 4 piston caliper is out for a BMW????

To make a product for all the bike models would be unfeasible and high in costs.

Your list on what a product line should cover will differ from mine, Joe's, Jake's, etc....

i agree and you would loss your *** because your price would have to be so high to cover what you lose on products that don't sell. it is not cheap to get the first one cut

Re: HoHey brackets for 4 piston caliper

i said have it availble for sale.. like be able to make one and sell it... because a lot of companies will only make cnc's programs for a popular model but that doesnt mean they cant make one for another bike thats all..
ability to offer something to everyone is important.. I dont mean have it on hand...

just throw it on and ride! i wouldnt even trim thre pads when they get close to toughing throw em away and replace em, you should be good as long as you look your bike over before and after you ride everytime
