im going to buy a stunt bike soon and am debating weather to get a salvage bike or get one titled in case of the cops busting my *****. i just dont know wat happens wen the cops catch you ****** around in a parking lot somewhere if they impound the bike if its a non registered salvage bike or not. also wondering where the better spots are at where nobody calls the cops or gives you ****. i live in northern jersey. any advise would be appreciated.

 

buy a salvage bike and then get it inspected

 

call the po-po or the bmv and see what you need to do to get a salvaged title street legal. it was easy as hell in Indiana. i would do it again in a heartbeat. good luck!

 

salvage title is salvage title. If you buy a bike from a different state I've heard you had to get it inspected but not salvage. If you buy salvage make sure its close to $1000 cheaper then if its was clean title. Cops wont care if its salvage or not. If you buy salvage, find out why its salvage, dont just take what the seller says as truth. If your gonna sell it in the future you can ask more for it if its clean title over salvage.

sounds good. i guess bringing ur bikes paperwork to a stunt spot is good in case the cops come?
