636 poll
Re: 636 poll
with a 12 bar or something? cuz my 06 never had any issues and i scraped the **** out of my exhuast and would use it to slow it down before doing stall tricks and my 05 isnt having any issues either....i just use the exhaust so thats why im wondering if its something thats aggrivated with a 12 bar cuz ive never heard or seen any problems with the subs.
Re: 636 poll
ya i havin same problem just switched to the 06 and makin gettin stalls down pat a lil difficult.. i love this ******* thing tho. runnin a lil hot but im bout to wrie up another fan. puts the f4i to shame.
Re: 636 poll

durability and availability of parts of an f4i
brakes, suspension and lightweight compact feel of a 600rr
power, smoothness, style and ergonomics of the 636
thatd be my choice.
Re: 636 poll
Oh **** everyone is on to my wheel and swingarm swap
I think I started a fad with that **** Re: 636 poll
I have had a few 03/04 and guess what they are the same model but each bike is different!!!!
my new 03/04 has very weak idle and it took me 6 weeks to find out the truth with fuel injection (believe me i changed everything to find out what was wrong with my bike) it's all down to throttle body balacinging and fuel mapping!!
all the cylinders are diffenent compression by a slight degree IF YOUR IDLE IS WEAK GET YOUR THROTTLE BODIES BALANCED
it makes the biggest difference you would not believe!! after that get your bike on a dyno and ask for a linear power curve from very low down to say 10,000rpm basically the reverse of an old school race set up!
Thing is we stunters (like me) buy a shortie or cut down can and expect our bikes to pull like trains on idle!!!!! there is a loss of back pressure and the standard ecu trys hard to auto adjust to your new can but can but is outta balance...
Easy just to point out again that the same bike is very different like i found out so get your bodies balanced and mapping set up.... you can get most FI bikes to behave how you want to... the only real difference is weight displacement and geometry....
03/04 with a cut down tail and dirt bars for me thanks

I heard that before. also i heard running the throttle bodies that were on the motor originally is very important, switching them can be bad because they are not balanced to that motor.
