i have ridden alot of both and the 05 06 pulls sooooo much harder on idle then the 03 04 and the 05 06 is lighter ,smaller ,faster just all around better in my oppinion......

 

not many of us around in this country, trying to get my friend dan to dent the tank in on his F4i, but everybody in this country is so rebelious to dentin in there gas tank, yet there willing to cut down there fairings and buy cages and **** haha

 

i have rode both and the 03-04 pulls harder thats what made me make my decision. i like the 03-04 better

 

The 03-04 is sweet, but I haven't really ridden an 05-06. At least one that was running right.

 

i love my 03-04 636. light, fast, pulls pretty hard on idle, easy to work on.
but i really loved my f4i. easy to ride, didnt have to work on it much.
if i could get my 636 to stop running hot i would like it as much as my f4i

 

So who's right Oh well, guess it's the same as always, I will just have to try both and decide for myself


(That is if I ever get bored with my F4is LOL)

 

I voted 03/04 because thats what I ride, and it pulls like a train on idle. I also like the looks of the 03/04 better, except for the wheels. I haven't rode an 05/06 enough to have a real opinion on it though.

i like the 03 04 636 thats what i ride just purchased it and im going to stunt it out, have never ridden the 05 06 model im sure they are a lil lighter

03/04 is in my price range...thats the main decision for me...I had an F4i i started to stunt then sold now gonna try out a 636...rode an 05' and the thing was soooooo light and it was a torque little ******...figure the 03/04's are gonna be close enough...just wanna do a fork swap and then rock stock ya kno

 

03-04 is the best ive had them all even 07..........05-06 is better for stoppies thats it!!!!

 

I went from a f4i to a 03/04 and the kawi pulls a lot stronger, feels a lot smoother then the f4i and that thing will not stall. I only really rode the 636 a couple of times and i could not transfer everything over...like tank wheelies, i have less gearing on the 636 (+10). It feels a lot easier for some tricks, like burn outs, drift, saving circle wheelies with the clutch....the one thing that is killing me on the 03/04 is the rear seat (no levarage, too small) for seat standers, they suck compared to the f4i. I used to be able do a no throttle circles but now on the kawi i can barely do a RL, it feels like im holding on too much....guess i gotta get used to it??? does anyone feel the same??

 

whos got a stock 03/04 636 for this guy for 3 grand...just got fucked on another deal so whos got something for me in the north east

put the 05-06 front end with 05-06 swingarm and wheels and get the best of both worlds the look of the wheels with the better frame subframe on the 03-04 :YEAH

 

whats wrong with the 05/06 subframe? its boxed aluminum just like the 03/04...
