Re: The New Full Throttle Handbrake Report!

it is the only hb i've run on my beamer....i can do any trick with it. i am thinking of going dual caliper with the fti piece so i can mount another hb...or i may just go with a dual piston caliper period.

Re: The New Full Throttle Handbrake Report!

setup looks all fancey and high tech but never had any probs with the hohey dcb and brembo mc, so i see no reason to change. Nice bmw btw, and how are you still getting those awsome maxxis suprmaxx tires ?

Re: The New Full Throttle Handbrake Report!

have a better clip up soon, just dented the tank finally. maxxis street is no longer...i have like 3 rears left and a few fronts..want a front!? lol

i think the fti setup was ahead of its time, but i also think its going to come into play sooner than people think...and i think it will be combined with the hhd dc setup for the best and most versatile hb setup ever seen! that's my plan on the bmw at least....

Re: The New Full Throttle Handbrake Report!

Teach, did you ever put an ez pull on this system and did it feel better or worse to you if you did?

Re: The New Full Throttle Handbrake Report!

dont know if you can get them, i've been so busy i havent had a chance to catch up with bill lately.

i run the ez pull clutch lever with the asv handbrake lever...works good. i run it on the 2nd to hardest setting. bmw idle is strong and torqueya nd i think it would pull past any hand break...i know it pulls through the footbrake on occasion too

Re: The New Full Throttle Handbrake Report!

I loved this handbrake when I had it. I hated to get rid of it, but needed to money for bills, etc.

i have the same set up and i love it.... the brake is really strong and easy to pull... it did take some time runnin the lines and finding where excatly to mount it on the forks so it would clear everything but other then that it was a great buy

i guarantee that bike will pull through any brake! a few other people have ridden it and had the same thing happen.

bmw bikes come standard with brembo brakes and the rear rotor is much bigger than a jap bike as well. the handbrake has nothing to do with that at all. maybe a 4 piston caliper would help, i'm sure it would, but it pulls through the footbrake if you aren't careful!

this is with high idle (4k) for the fib stuff of course.

like i said, i think the best setup is going to be combining the two and i think you'll see more and more top riders, especially competition riders, using bill's device combined with hohey's device....

this system is UNIVERSAL for ANY bike model...that's one of the greatest things about it...especially for those who change bikes every couple years....you can only ride the 03-04 636 for so long! lol
