To JB Weld or Not to JB Weld.......

....that is the question. Sooooo I found a huge nasty crack in my engine case wrapping its way slighly around the left side motor mount (just above the stator cover). It's spewing coolant. Awesome. I had a huge chunk of aluminum welded to cover a huge part of the crack, but it's going to need to be JB Welded or fixed using some other similar substance.
Anyone found anything that works better than JB Weld?

My girls bike has that same exact crack.

It's been jb welded for a month and a few wrecks later and it's still hanging in there with no leaks.

We just went ahead and got another motor to swap in when this one finally cracks all the way.

Lesson learned.. remember to replace your spacers

Jb Weld Will Fix A Crack, It Works Best If You Can Sandblast The Area And Leave It Rough.
