still is a problem. unless you coat the **** out of your pieces 1/8"+ it will eventually chip and flake as your plastics flex. i never had issues with the tank.

bottom line doin this requires hardly any maintenance and if your learning its a great choice.

if your not trashing your bike you prolly appreciate a more sophisticated look, hehe. i kept mine for 1 season before i was sick of it. ill never go back.

Re: Rhino Line 929?

Ok, found a couple of potential rattle can products...

Plastikote - Didn't read anything bad about this stuff.

and

Dupli-color - Truck guys say use pros rather than this stuff... peeling issues. But, they're using for truck beds.

So.

Anyone have the NAME of a rattle can product they can recommend?

Thanks

Herculiner roll on works GREAT and for 139 bucks its not to bad because you have enough to go back and roll some more on to touch up when you drop it...cause you know its going to happen!!!

Re: Rhino Line 929?

Decided to do it the right way and had a Pro coat everything with Line-X. Cost me 160 bucks, only took a day... and looks pimp in my opinion.

People flip on the look =)

Kinda hard to see the texture... but it has a nice even finish. It looks smooth in the pics, but has a nice uniform texture. The stuff is actually glossy, so looks great in the sun as well. Sparkles like a black diamond lol.

All the pieces are wrapped 360 degrees, so I never have to worry about peeling... and the **** is absolutely bomb proof.
