An o-town dent is much better for pull-throughs, but you lose a LOT of leverage for tank circles. You can still do pull-throughs with a shallow dent, it just takes getting used to.
It also helps to be a skinny bastard like me!

I had an o-town type dent kinda like ****** but mine sucked,I always slid off when I clutched it from the tank. I wish I still had it to help me learn frog O's. I have a shallow dent now (not nearly as close to the front as the tank in this thread) and I love it, holds like a champ and perfect for pull throughs

u think that' a bad dent? check out the first attempt of bashin the tank in on me R1, guess i shoulda checked out this site first to c how 2 do it properly, just cracked on with a big **** off hammer and jumped on it, as u can c it's ****** bad !

that tank had dents in it prior to falling into my hands, i did what i could with what i had to work with. its actually not that bad, those R6 tanks are a ******* bitch to get right, if i had a minty tank to start with, i think i could have done better.
