Re: Setting up Clutch/HB Brembo

oh and just to clarify i usually run my clutch on the triple side with the HB on the outside. but when i pull in the clutch it hits my knuckle about the time its disengaging..scared the **** out of me when i try to do a stall. but i'll play around with the adjuster and some of my spare levers.

Thanx to everyone for the advice!

people have asked me that before, if the lever was any longer i would hae to use my pinky to grab it or use the bar end as a grip, i have no need for it, i dont use that far end of the lever so i cut it down to prevent snapping in a crash, it is a great master for the job w/ the second caliper (once i figured that i have to bleed the caliper when it was upright) my xxl hands and sausage fingers have no problem. Also, after learning how to clutch with my middle finger like a real dirtbiker, i did it on my first gixxer w/ a rock hard clutch, and then the hb was cake. the hb is easy for me just like the stock gsxr clutch perch that i 1 fingered.

im guessing he hasnt disabled his foot brake during the mod.. so if any 'rear' braking was needed- he would beable to get it.

so you like them????
so people run them like ghostie.....it works fine but when set it up like that
your finger grabs real close to the master, where as mine your finger rest at the end of the lever(most comfortable and powerful part of the entire master)

Ghostie... ya need to swap the clutch and hb.... then you'll have full leverage by fingering the very end of the lever...
