Question for all you Streetfighters......
Question for all you Streetfighters......
I just turned my f4i into a streetfighter, well 2 months ago. I finally decided to order a SF headlight so i could ride the streets. Anyways, i got it in with the rubber straps and all, but the rubber straps seem to long. The light is loose unless i stick something under the straps to take up the length. Is this normal? It seems to work as long as i stick some of the harness under the strap on each side so it makes it a tight fit. Just wondering if its normal.....
Re: Question for all you Streetfighters......
If you can find the Acerbis thats the way to go but they discontinued the popular Diamond. Next is the Bikeit Demon Fairing. I sell these things like hotcakes haha

Re: Question for all you Streetfighters......
I have had problems mounting my diamond. The straps hold the assembly on there well, but I can't get it into a good position (up and down the forks). The bulb housings hit the ram air intake (frame) of the 636 and tear up the wires while turning. I have it in an "ok" position now, but the housing bottoms out on my front fender in stoppies. It's been kind of a headache. Anyone else have this problem?

yeah i got mine on in no time, just wasnt as tight a fit as i wanted until i stuffed some of the harness under the rubber straps to take up the slack more. now it seems to be good. this is the headlight i got. pretty cheap and actually puts off decent light.

Re: Question for all you Streetfighters......
I had a diamond headlight on mine, unbolted the top numberplate and just ran the light section. strapped it on so that the lights and wires were just below the ram air so it wouldn't rub.
