well i was saying try with neutral (off clutch) and if it's fine THEN go to clutch in and try and move it with it in first gear....if that doesn't work, you eliminate the chain and the entire rear end. It would be the transmission. Remember eliminate all causes first with mechanical problems. OMR i was just saying, u know how many squidlies get on here and can't start the bike cuz it's in gear and ****. So i took ALL precautions
+1 gosh damnit.......may be the clutch cable is too stretched and needs adjusting.....

when you figure out what this is you better post up...lol
i hate when i get stumped and then they don't tell me what it was.....
if it does it in neutral i suspect the chain or brakes...
that is as long as there isn't some thing stupid like a rag stuck under the front fender or rear hugger.....lol

check your brake pads. happens to me all the time when one of mine sit after I had the brake pressed.....sometimes the calipers get stuck forcing the pad against the disc.... check it out
