Re: cage leg room

the cage looks clean. ive just never seen on in person, or sat on bike wit one. all ive been running into is the 905 cages, and i bang my leg on those, so dont really like it.

Re: cage leg room

do you want to be comfortable or do you want your bike to be protected?

If you picked comfort, pick another sport.

now now mike... comfort on bike = better control... hahahaha

honestly FI has the most legroom of any cage... SI is a close second... SI is a little more diesel... FI is a little lighter... so depending on your skill level and how much you stunt... make your decision...

Re: cage leg room

i got a si on my f4 and I usually have some leg room...I'm 6'0"....but I think the shin hitting the cage is just a thing you will have to get used to with any cage...because I do it on my SI once in a while...

I've had FI, 905 & MXD and the best one out of all them from my experience is the MXD. pancaked the **** out of it a few times and was able to pick the bike up and keep riding. The FI I dropped going 60mph and that held up ok also. the 905 I dropped a few times and it got tweaked and I wound up cracking the stator cover not to mention my shins smashing up against them way too much. the good thing about the MXD also is, I bearly break off levers/pegs which I've seen happen with some other cages on some little spills. Even though I've never had a problem getting an MXD, people have experienced 'long' waits to get them. The SI cages I've seen put to use and hold up really well. That will be my next cage for my f4i.
