Again I think that it all comes down to a persons riding style.

BTW: Kane was actually the first one that I saw using his foot as a brace to do Highchair stoppies. Just a fun fact for everyone.
One with the bike

I used to love hc stoppies on my 929. It had a sweet upper brace, I have been over 400ft the og way....

doing it the "O.G" way gives you an advantage just in case you loop it, having your foot on an upper brace will def. hinder your ability to get ur *** out of the way.

it really depends on your style when it comes down to it, but i think with foot on the upper brack def. adds style.

Re: Then and now the difference....

The OG way is waaaaaay better looking IMO.... Starboyz, Jackson, Thew, GORKA, Brown.... All riders with style.

I understand that the foot on the upper stay gives you control for 180's and whatnot, but the only person I've seen do a tall one is D-Lish.

Re: Then and now the difference....

I've done it without the upper and rolled pretty far prob. about 200 ft.

with the upper and my foot on distance probably 250 maybe 300.
