Q For those who have powdercoated.

I have a number of things that need powdercoating, a few items of which are wheels, frame, and swingarm. Now the races in the frame's headtube should be alright. But as far as the swingarm goes and the wheels go, what did you end up doing with the bearings?

remove all bushings, bearings AND races from the frame. powder has to be baked at over 300 degrees, funny things happen to metal at that heat. do yourself a favor and just pop em out.

depends on the bike, usually you can tap em out with some type of punch, or socket for bearings.

i just used a flathead screwdriver and was really careful, if you go my route take your time and pry a little then move and pry a little more. the hardest part was getting them back in, but it was all pretty easy.
