yeah, that is a great pic....too bad it's one of about 8 stunt pics in the magazine......there's no doubting the fact that super streetbike just plain blows *** and doesn't even give a damn about stunt riders......my teamates threw a benefit ride for me when i was in the hospital and SSB wouldn't cover ANY part of it.....that's just shitty

shame on you big dave.

This makes me so mad.
It's not a stunt mag.
People sounding like Kaney West..

Because you have given to the sport dosen't mean Dave owes you a thing.
I understand the cause, however at the end of the day SSB has got to make money. It's not a stunt mag, drop it already...

Stunting doesn't pay the Rent. Stop complaining and be part of the solution.

Why in the older issues alot of its stunting and covers are stunting if its not a stunt mag or any part of a stunt mag

It would seem to me that the Mag realized that a larger number of the subscribers or advertisers would rather see the mag in it's current form. So rather then drive the mag into the ground at the convenience of a few someone (DAVE) made a choice to do what he was hired to do. Run a mag that makes money...

Not every post is about you. That comment was clearly stated that Stunting doesn't pay the Mag's rent. Just cause it pays yours (For Now).

It's not Dave's responsibility to see that stunting makes it anywhere. It is the people involved in the sport responsibility to show people like Dave that they should have a spot in he's Mag. HE'S Mag!!! Then not complain about how much exposure that they get. The people that can't see that, I don't expect to understand from my comments. When I knocked on a door and no one answered I didn't hang around and bitch about it. I, "did work", and knocked on more doors.

I think the word of the day is Entitlement.

Because you can do wheelies makes you entitled to POOP...

No Ryan, shame on you.
The next issue has a story on you, as well as information on how to donate and help you out.
We didn't cover the ride because nobody told us about it...

So instead of contacting us to see what's going on, you come on a forum, twice, saying we're **** b/c we didn't help you.

Guess what man, you're not the only person to get hurt on a bike, and we don't owe you anything...
yet we chose to help you out, and you've chosen to slam us yet again.

thanks dude.

hey numbnutz, i wasnt talking about me, i was just interjecting that your statement of stunting not paying the rent, isnt true. as its been proven that it does pay the rent for many walks of life. SSB mag included. granted things are changing over there.. whatever more power to them, but the fact is stunting still aided in getting them to where they've become and payed plenty of bills for them along the way..

as well as the more than a large handfull now of riders who have all cashed decent sized rent paying checks through stunting in the past few years..

just cause your bitter and cranky over you input into or apparent outlook of stunting doesnt mean its that way for everyone.
open your eyes, think son.. think

now go do work!

Hay Hay we don't have to lower ourselves to name calling...

I think stunting is going to make, I think it has made it. I am not bitter at the fact of where it's at or where it's going. I am bitter at the people that think they have stuff coming to them. I don't care for Kane a whole lot, however I would think that if anyone could see that it would be you. ???

Again this post isn't about that. It isn't about you or others rent. It's about SSB owing the stunting community anything. I think I made that clear. I would appreciate it if you wouldn't queer my thoughts with thoughts and arguments concerning yourself.

Re: super street bike this month. joe vertical.

easy way to please ALL the masses...

ever read transworld motocross....???
well in the center is a little 2 sided poster, one side with a bike and a chick posing, the other side, action shot of riding...

everyone always bitching...theres not enough stuntriding based shows and comps this time of year to cover...so how could you dedicate a whole mag to it in the "off season".....getting off track here...

i'm sure it wouldnt raise publication costs too much to start putting something like that poster in the center of every mag....

bling bike and some hoe on one side, and maybe an action shot of a stuntrider, or racer on the other...
then every month you get a choice on what to hang up in your garage or something...

and that way, 2 sides of the industry, get some exposure.or at least both that they "cover"...

We'd love to do something like that, but unfortunately it would cost a fortune.
Instead, the last page of the mag each month is exactly what you described. I know it isn't a poster, but like i said...it's very expensive.

On a side note, I'm still taking heat from the higher ups for the amount of stunting in there at the moment (as in, there's too much).
