super street bike this month. joe vertical.
Re: super street bike this month. joe vertical.
for 2 reasons:1: im sorry Big Dave but you are wrong. i didnt contact u personally, cuz i didnt know u existed, but i went to your website to let you (SSB) know about it. i did it under ur "contact us" inquary form. and to be honest it was a pretty good letter to. showing how we "stunters" came together as a community to help another rider out.
2: how is it that there were 2 or so threads dedicated to his ride alone in SL, not to mention all the other threads with updates about the accident. that you "didnt know about it"......... yet SSB gets bashed, and less than 24 hours later you chime in.
im not saying ur wrong for not comming. im just saying to man up and just say the truth. "we had better things that day." like.... cover the 1,000,000,000 busa with custom paint and an extended swinger.
wat ever it is. dont lie, "nobody told us".
but hey ur boss will be happy with all this bad talk. its bad publicity, but its publicity and its free!!!!

yeah?
have you submitted a story and professionally shot photos, or did you give SSB any contacts?
no?
then how are we supposed to cover it exactly?
talk about BS...
and furthermore, there could very well be 10 threads about it, but does that mean i check them all? no.
Re: super street bike this month. joe vertical.
Yeah it would have a better affect wouldn't it?
He's, His.. What's the difference. If I am gonna use the English language I should at least try to use it correctly. My Bad...
My late Grandfather used to say make sure they spell the name correct. It's Schwartz...
Re: super street bike this month. joe vertical.
Cheese and Rice - what a bunch of babies.
I try to bite my toung alot on this site, but here's my
Stunt Riding is like anything else in life - it is what you make of it.
Anybody can go get the flash and the cash and be the next Kane, OR you can bitch and moan that your pic isn't in a magazine that is about MOTORCYCLE CUSTOMIZATION. Either way it's going to be what you make of it. If you wanna be a rockstar - sign off and go ride. If you want to tell people how to run a magazine - go to college.
Ryan - please don't think that I'm just talking to you - you've always been very cool to me at comps and I realize that you're are the victim of a recent horrible accident... but come on man - making things personal on a website isn't going to get your team any more pages in ANY magazine.
Transworld MX has pics of FMX riding in it - Go over to their Forum and try to find a thread where people are pissed that there is too much Racing in the magazine.
Snowboarding magazines cover Mountain Riding, Park, Pipe, Free Riding... etc.
Mountain Bike magazines cover Downhill, Cross Country, Free Riding, Urban riding, BC style riding...
Anybody notice a patern? :Shruggs

From A Stuntriders Perspective, The Magazine Is Week.
From A Business Perspective, The Magazine Is Doing What Is Best For Dollars.
Its Pretty Simple.
They(ssb) Throw A Little Stuntriding In For Variety, I See Nothing Wrong With That, But Stuntriding Alone Just Doesnt Pay The Bills.
People With 20,000 Dollar Busa's Obviously Have More Dough To Spend Than 2,000 Dollar F4i Riders.

Re: super street bike this month. joe vertical.
yea guys my dad used to dragrace he had a 06 velocity racing turbo gsxr 1000 and he bought the mag off the shelf when he wanted to and he bitched cus he was tired off all the "damn kids doin wheelies takin up the whole mag" everybody likes different things. just cus we like stunting doesnt mean the next person does.
Re: super street bike this month. joe vertical.
there aren't ANY complete stunt mags. I still buy ssb just for the few pages of stunting in it, just like 2 wheel tuner. there aren't enough publicized ways to support this lifestyle. If everyone (stunters) showed interest in the magazine maybe they would show more interest in us. right now they are playing to the trailer show crowd cuz that's who buys the magazine the most.
