here in ny headlights have to be on fulltime but generally the cops leave us alone unless we get to out of hand or do something stupid like tryinf to roll thru a road block with no inspection and no licene....... but they dropped everything and i had to pay court cost .... lucky me

 

so the cop was cool about your friend running. Usually here they get everyone to snitch them out, happens all the time.. They usually just have to say something like we will run all your plates and the kids with warrants will open right up..

they cant charge you a court surcharge if they dropped all the charges. only way they can hit u with a surcharge is if you plead guilty or are convicted.

 

yea last year i was at bike week and just pulled out my homeboys paint shop and took off and the cop pulled up behind me and gave me a warning for taking off to quickly i was like what. but whatever then another time i was almost pulled over here in KC. i was doing a stand up and i seen the cop go by me in the other lane and i brought it down and seen him turn his lights on and i just took off from there lol never heard from him again. "knock on wood"

 

Twice I had cool cops pull me over. The first one was like "that was a sweet wheelie, You know better than to do that on the hiway tho, you must got some brass *****".

And cop # 2 was like" Someone called and complained about you guys riding wheelies so go do it somewhere else" So I asked If he had any good ideas" He laughed and said "well if you see the green sign that says now entering the city limit....not there!"

both were young guys and city cops, HYPO I would have been in some deep crap.
