Rod doesnt kink, and especially not when theres only 6" of leverage....You do understand that the longer you make a piece for a cage the more leverage is avialavble to bent that piece...example the long tube that goes from the motor mount to the bottom of the fairings...You know the tube that always bends when a 3 poin cage shifts from side to side.....This is also why F4i cages tend to be the strongest, because the mounts are so close the cage parts are short and the overall cage is compact...

Bottom line Ive tried both and the TS is outlasting any 3 point hollw tube Ive seen or tried.....SI is a good cage! I dont doubt that but IMO and experience the TS is better then anything else out there right now...

My buddy bought a SI for his 05 636 and he needs a new cage, its shifted all out of shape....He going to get a TS to replace it, and I wont be surprised if it outlasts the SI he wreaked...

Again this is just my opinon basied on my and my freinds I ride with experiences....Some may aggree and others not
We have had very little if any at all busted stator covers from our cages. (that i know of). I have never seen a post about it, nor have we had calls on it. I dont doubt the integrity of a TS cage, but i know the strength of ours. My point was about hollow Vs solid. Hollow is stronger. To each his own.

Thats is a theory my machinest told me about when I was aking him to make me solid handle bars. He told me thick wall tube is stronger then solid rod of the same dia, I didnt believe him either but hes a metalologist or whatever the ****....

I went with soild anyways just cause it was easy to get, and I havent been able to bent that ****....

Thats the thing not just any hollow tube is stronger, the inside dia to outside dia of the hollow tube has to be the right balance for it to be stronger then solid.....No off the shelf tube is going to be stroger then solid rod, my machinest was saying that the solid rod would be stronger if we bored the right size hole through it....Not that an off the shelf hollow tube will be stornger, thats silly...

OOohhh so that bar over the stator cover is solid stock!! I can see how it would last longer and not bend as quickly. That shock absorber and slider look really nice. I bet the shock/spring dissapates alot of force that would otherwise flow through the bike. And it works great with FF. Well Im pretty much sold on my next cage. Thanks johnny.
