good deal..... but somebody got screwed
I've seen tanks go on stuntlife MANY times for $25.. (of course not GOOD tanks, tanks that are dented and sometimes have cracks)

but I see em all the time for $25-$50

yea... i was talkin about nice minty tanks.

Once you get a dent or 2 in the wrong spot, it's impossible to get it perfect.... Or you end up gettin creases and holes.

Anyone near Milford pa that can dent a tank for ($$$)? Or does anyone have one for sale already dented? 1998 900rr ! I would bet I would ball mine up as I have not ever seen a tank being dented, I did see someone jumping up and down on the tank with there feet as his buds held the bike up though! That put a dent in the top for sure!

kj, how hard would it be to take an o-town dent to a flat? Would it be to deep or what? Just wondering if you know if it's been done or can be. I have a flat tank now, but fucked it up, I've got that 0-town dent tank laying around, just wanted to know. If not, I've got a stock one I can dent, but would rather not

You want to go from otown to flat?

Once you get the cap angled like the otowns i think it's gonna be pretty tough to flatten it out smooth... but depends on how deep it is already and how steep the angle of the cap is.

The thing that always sucks is the cap area when your dentin the whole tank.... thats why the otowns come out so good. You dont get all those creases around the cap.

Idk.... i'm not really good at flat dents.... but i'm sure w/ some bondo you could do anything you wanted.

I think I'll just give it a shot, I'll let you know how it turns out. And yes, I like the flat better, I stand on the tank a lot, it's easier. I'll post a pic of the tank on here in a minute to see what you think.

This is the tank I got with the bike. I've got a nice dent-free one for normal riding, but think I could get a decent dent going in this one?

The dent in the back is no problem but the side is gonna screw things up....

if you're lookin for a functional dent, one that dosen't look good (at all), then it could work.... if you just work the back and make a lip to hold you in...

But that side dent is gonna crease up like crazy and make it waaaaaay to wide at the front.
