i wonder what the boiling temp is on mineral spirits

 

so binder if the piston on the 1krr clutch is 12.5 would that be sufficeint for me to run it as a hand brake. The only reason i ask is because i have a clutch master fro ma 1krr and i was gonna us it as my hb and run the 1krr front radial as my front brake master.....

what would be the feel of the clutch vs. the brake master??? squishy? firm? what?

 

last i saw teaches bike he had a brembo radial handbrake..... bout a month ago.

 

i would have to think that it would b somewhat mushy... and have alot of travel to get the same power output of a larger bore master?

if the larger bore masters (19 & 20)are more on/off and the 16 seems to be a nice medium w/ lots of feel and good power....

simple hydrolics: smaller piston produces more pressure w/ less force but needs more travel to accomplish the same volume of work as a larger piston, which needs more force but less lever travel.

 

gotcha, i may try it out and see how i like it, cuz my 1krr master does NOT fit well with my clutch

 

i use 900rr which is 14mm and i love it.

i'm not sure how it would feel.


OMR: it's very low, somewhere in the 100's.


and teach was rocking a brembo last i saw.

 

im using a 1000rr clutch master and i love it...i was using a gixxer 1000rr front master but i switched to this and im glad i did:YEAH

 

Dont know what these guys are talking about I used one off a 02 zx7 on my f4i and it worked better then some of the name brand ones out there and a hell of alot cheeper (ebay). If its bled correctly its bad ***.

 

I also went from a 06 gsxr1k to a 1000rr clutch master and i can lock it up 1 finger with the clutch master.

P.S. in case anyone was having a problem with the res on the clutch masters, you can remove it and replace it with the teardrop adapter off of MOST rear masters and use a remote resevoir.

yeah a radial clutch master with 12,5mm in size (1000rr clutch master) would be better then a radial 16mm imho

i haven't read the whole thread....but i run a hydraulic nissin 14mm something clutch out of some dirtbike book....it was like 100 dollars and is awesome....never had a problem with it.......i never understood spending 250 on a handbrake, but thats me....
