Hand brake problem!

This might be a repost, but I can't find it anywhere. I have a Nissin clutch as a hand brake and it works good for about two blocks, after that it starts to get really stiff to the point that the hand brake doesn't squeeze anymore forcing me to bring the bike down. Does anyone have this problem? Would a brembo or a seperate caliper solve this problem? Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Hand brake problem!

Wheeliest thread was how to fix the problem bleeding the GSXR radial front masters... think you have a totally different mc... Is it just hard to pull or actually doesn't apply the brakes?

Sounds like it has air and the first few times you use it it's soft... then it gets pumped up and you can't pull it hard enough.. might be the setup on the bars and lever length.. post up a pic of MC and of it mounted..

Re: Hand brake problem!

Why would the set up affect it? I've bled this handbrake a couple of times, and it's always the same, I don't have pics. at this minute but the lever length is not short.
