SI Cages, Shin Bashers??

I'm looking at getting a cage for my bike. Everyone says SI's the **** but he doesnt have one listed for my bike. I emailed him a few mins ago asking about it. Even if he doesnt have one for me I'd like to know for future reference.

Thanks,
Frankie

Re: SI Cages, Shin Bashers??

If they don't get one sooner I am taking an 06-07 gix down to them so they can start getting them made in the next few weeks.

Re: SI Cages, Shin Bashers??

I wish I was closer to him so I could give him my bike. I was just curious cuz I knew the 905's were hard on the shins. I was looking at FI cuz you can remove the hoop to ride twisties but the SI cage looks like it could handle twisties too.

Re: SI Cages, Shin Bashers??

I've never hit my shins on my F4i one either... only times Ive hit the cage with my shin was 1) high sided a circle but landed on top of the bike and another time doing no throttle seat stander, stalled, bike fell one way i fell other and landed on top lol..

not a mark on the bike tho and ive never hit my shins any other times.

SI handles the twisties just fine... you will scrape the peg feelers off just b4 the cage touches...

Re: SI Cages, Shin Bashers??

SI- No problems with shins and no problems in the twisties... It's tucked up nice and neat...

We'll get lower drifting than most guys will in the twisties and still have plenty of room to spare!
