Xdl Question

well i just back from iraq and just triing to catch up on things, 15 months worth of catching up and was wondering why there are a few people from the west coast at the xdl east coast qualifier. just wondering if this raises an eyebrow. im not haten on the west coast just thought thats why there was an east coast and west coast qualifier. if this is how things are going to be just turn this into a circuit of some sort............

can someone answer this?

Anyone from any coast can come and compete for 1st 2nd 3rd and so on for $ at any XDL events. There will be 15 riders taken from the east and 15 riders from the west. Ones that already qualified on the west don't interfere with the 15 that are chosen on the east because they show up to compete.

you CAN bounce someone out of the finals by competing in both sides. a lot of guys from the west competed on the east bc there are no last chance qualifiers this year, and some of us missed the west coast comps for various reasons. so only the top 15 from the east are taken and if you already qualified in the west and you finish 15th, you bump out the 16th place guy.

i guess i can by that for a dollar!
just thought the east and west qualifiers were seperate events that judged the best from each coast without eachother competing together until the final event.

You got XDL Utah which was just EDub, Darius, SIC Nate, Apex, and one of the local Utah riders, that was suppose to count as being qualifying for the finals too. IDK it seems all screwed up, and doesn't seem too fair cuz then there could be for example 20 riders qualified for the west and only 10 on the east.

see thats my point i thought they were 2 seperate events but know things dont seem to coordinated or should i say fair...

you represent your coast, now what happens if someone from the west coast wins the final but qualified on the east coast or vice a versa

Re: Xdl Question

Does it really matter? Lol
Good question

The east coast qualifier is on the east coast.... not just for east coast people.. Same with the west

Like american idol.. They have qualifiers everywhere... you can attend as many as you like to try and qualify

Next year it will be a points paying series for the championships and it should be about 5 or 6 events instead of just 3....

Finals are march 22 weekend in long beach... make your plans now

Re: Xdl Question

So basically it's not a East or West qualifier, it's just an XDL qualifying event.

The judges hand over the scoring sheets after the final rider. Kinda hard to remember every riders score off the top of your head, mabey thats why?
