f4i is a tank so if your new get that cuz you will **** your **** up..

if you dont drop your bike get the 636. NOW i have heard a couple ppl say the 636 is just as strong as a f4i but there is everyones opinion. so ya im still stuck too. sooo, some one that has rode both should help both of us out :D

Honestly i dont think it matters personally id rather have a FI 600 over the 1000/900. Who cares what you're stunting you'll get used to it no matter what it is.

636 is wayyy better. heres why i say that.

636 looks better has more power but is still just as smooth as the f4i. everyone and their mom rides f4i's and im just sick of looking at them. same old chopped up **** machines. some ppl do run some sick looking ones but im just sick of seeing the f4i. i like have an undertail exhaust to scrape on cuz i hate 12 bars, flipped 636 clip ons are perfect, much better for stoppies than an f4i. yes the f4i is probably stronger, but ive never had any issues with the 636 braking on me. if you dont toss your bike down a cliff then u wont have any problems, with the exception of the 03/04 636 having fork issues. 05/06 636 is the best feeling performing bike ive ever ridden. so u gotta decide whats important to you, your gonna have to fix any bike, now do u want to fix an ugly low powered bike that everyone has or do u wanna fix one that has plenty of power and looks real good. all this is just my opinion from my experience take it for what is worth, and dont get all offended honda fans. im back on a honda now, oh and hondas are the most uncomfortable ****** bricks on the planet.

Re: 636 / f4i > 954rr?

I had 954 and I would rule that out. it's too twisty, you can rock it, but you just going to end up hurt or with busted bike when learning to control it. So for stunting no, but for overall sportbike, 954 is very good.

636 vs f4i i would go for the 636 for the reason it has USD front, so no need to change that. also 636 no need to shorten the exhaust, just scrape the stock. 636 doesn't need oil pickup, so that is one more. 636 needs clean air mod, but that is more easy to do then changing oil pickup. front brakes are way better on 636.

636(05) has some very light parts, like the radiator which needs some bracing.
