Re: 929rr Vs. 945rr

I have both 929 stunter and a 954 stock!!!!

They are just about identical.....954 is a bit smoother, smidge more power.....but it's my favorite bike 954.....929 is retired...and used a show piece.....

I love them both and would reccommend all day!

Re: 929rr Vs. 945rr

Is there a reason you stunt the 929 instead of the 954? I just got a 954 but havent even ridden it yet ( being painted ) I want to turn it into a stunt bike but im thinking it might be a little too big, a few stunters have already said its probably too much
Im in the 180lb range so maybe the power wont hurt

Btw Rafajara f4i>636 all the way

I can tell you from experience that you don't need power to stunt...and that bike is NOT forgiving....you have to have GREAT throttle control!

600 is way more than enough with proper gearing...i'm 200+ and it's an incredible difference on a 600!

954 is a GREAT stoppie bike.....and is a great over all bike but.....there is a reason everyone has progressed to 600's!
F4I, 600rr, 636 to stunt!!!!

Re: 929rr Vs. 945rr

I don´t think there´s a big difference between 929 and 954.
I love my 954 and will still ride it, but a week ago I had the chance to ride a F4i and this little something is a baby´s toy compared to my 954, I realy wish I had started stunting with an F4i, so much more forgiving on the throttle, smaller and feels better to handle.
But if you can rock a liter bike you can rock everything, so for me the 954 is still the #1 allround bike.

Re: 929rr Vs. 945rr

I'm thinking about selling my R1 and geting the Titanium CBR954. I love the looks of my R1 but chrome sucks to clean. & In my opinion this is a better looking bike just the way it is. I love the colors of it & I love the looks. Plus I've heard nothing but good about this bike.

Just curious. Has anyone ever rode both a R1 and a CBR954? What were you opinions on both?

& theres no need to sugest me getting a 600 instead. I'm picking up a F4i in a couple months but I want a 600stunter & still have a 1000cc class street bike.

I don't have the flexability of a 22 year old but Christian Phiffer is 39ish and AC Farious is like 43+ so I'm in good shape and can ride for a few more years

I've seen 300+ lbs stunters!!!! on F4I:YEAH

I felt like the 954 was more comfortable for me....but the r1 is definately more powerful!

I'll take the 954 all around best bike which is why I still have mine and it's my favorite!

ive been out on my friends 929 and 954 a couple times, both were smoother for wheelies i thought over the r1, but when it comes to power, my r1 walks all over them.

Re: 929rr Vs. 945rr

the 954 should be a lighter bike compared to the 929
