idle HC..............check

idle spreaders....check

multiple circs.....check (nothing super....SS, foot in seat, and footdown)

SS circs............check

nth circs...........check

no hand circs......NOPE.....unless foot downs count.....wait they dont!

400' endoes........NOPE, switched to an F4i with a bent front rim...got 2 months left with a new rim now!

180degree endoes....NOPE......can get 90-120 degree......again 2 months!

nth SS...........check

long coaster.....check.....600+ feet from ~250 feet

high speed scrapes....check

got some time left to get everything, but I'm pleased for now.....the guys who ride around me haven't been riding for awhile but seemed to be impressed a lil
Damn. Sounds like you had a killer season, too. ****, I'ld be impressed to see you come that far in a season. Good work.

Re: Did you fulfill your summer goals?

oh i just thought of more goals i havent accomplished

sit down circles!! I dont know what the **** the problem is. Ive been working on them for 2+ years now and Im lucky to get 2 rotations. Every other circle ive picked up easily but not the sit downs, im a ****** amatuer

jump to highchair - time to give up on this one. have the *****, dont have the flexibility. maybe if i lose both feet in a freak marching band accident i'll put it on the to-do list again.

So, you ride in sub-freezing temperatures? You must not get much rain/snow.

personally, i ride down to 10 degrees. when it gets into the single digits, i give up.

when it snows, they plow the spots, and then we can ride em the next day. id say maybe 1 storm per 7-10 days in the winter

Re: Did you fulfill your summer goals?

We get like 60-70 inches of rain, and every time the storm clears, there's black ice EVERYWHERE. Might get one ride in every couple weeks. I, personally can't do ANYTHING technical on a bike if I'm shivering. That normally happens to me if it's below freezing. You're hard core, bro.

oh that sux. winters here are pretty much cold and dry. I ride for 5 minutes, then sit in the truck and warm up for 10, then repeat

Re: Did you fulfill your summer goals?

didn't reach my goals at all. still don't have a big bike so that sucks, everytime i start saving something stupid comes up and i gotta break into the big bike fund to get my self outta trouble. but i ended up with a quad even though i had no intention of buying one (got it pretty cheap) and learned bp, idle, 12, ss, flamingos, frog, spreaders, hc, special k, ss jump to special k, and started rolling ghetto 10-20ft endos. the fiddy has been down for the most of the summer because of no rims but i got new rims now...just gotta spoke them. so all in all i didn't really accomplish much but atleast i have some decent brake & throttle control to my name.

At least you got the "Big Bike" fund up and running. Quads do teach some decent brake control.

Re: Did you fulfill your summer goals?

would it sound stupid to try and learn O's before learning ALL basic straight line ****.....like once you get idle down why not try and go for O's ?

Re: Did you fulfill your summer goals?

I don't think so. Once you have idle on lock, it seems that O's would be one of the next steps. What other "straight line" stuff you talkin about, Sammy.......combo's, highchairs, spreaders? If so, I don't think any of them would help you much w/ circle skills.
