Re: Is This An OK Handbrake ???
don't see why i wouldn't work....it says it's short already or something like that...i would rather have it long and be able to cut it down....but i'm sure it will be fine
Re: Is This An OK Handbrake ???
i've used that one before it's pretty nice and has a good feel.......but if you want to spend an extra $70 you can get the brembo forged 16x18 which is straight baller, super feedback and has a ton of power.
Re: Is This An OK Handbrake ???
ok, so here's my
....
i contacted bill about a week ago on my hb issues, he set me up with the superduty adapter and this master....i got the adapter next day and installed it with my 06 gsxr 1000 master that i had been using, felt better than before, so that was worth the $.... then i got this master today (cuz he was out of stock) and installed it.... bled it and tried it out for like 2 minutes, at first wasn't really impressed, then eric hit me up to go ride, so figured why not go really try it out...... THE BEST $130 you could spend..... that master is st8t pimp.... I have never had a master i could one finger... call me sqid or whatever, but i lacked alot of confidence in my HB cuz it would not lock up the rear without squeezing the poop out of it 2 fingered.... E-brake will verify this....
So on trial day one of actual riding (about 4 hours total), i am TOTALLY impressed with this master and have gained ALOT of confidence in my HB, E-brake will tell you, my riding improved drastically cuz of it..... I'm sure some of the others might be as good, but from my little experience, this is by far the best i've had yet...... especially for $130....

Re: Is This An OK Handbrake ???
Right on guys. Thanks for actually giving me good responses on this and not just shutting it down for not being a brembo.
I guess my last question is... I need to replace my front brake lever as well. Think I should just order 2 and use it for my front brake, and HB as well?
To replace my stock master and lever from the dealership is like 270 bucks. F* that.

Re: Is This An OK Handbrake ???
not tryin to steal the thread but a buddy of mine's dad has a radial master layin around off an older ducati and its a brembo but I can't decide if its worth the 90 bucks or not.. does it look decent to you guys?

Re: Is This An OK Handbrake ???
Best price I've seen on the 16 x 18 was 219.99 at haibikeshop.com Then add another 10.99 for the reservoir, and 4.99 for the banjo bolt.
So $236 bucks
Does anyone have a better price on this? Or is this as low as it gets? I wouldn't mind running a brembo... but I'm running out of cash I can drop into the bike's repair and setup.
I still need to get the stock front brake and res... god. I still have like a grand in my budget maybe... just don't want to use it all up.

And for those of you who cant read, but like the pretty pictures.
