A short while ago I saw on the SI website that you could submit crash vids with a sick innovations cage and possibly win a sub cage, i think it was?? not 100% sure, but just wondered if this is still going on and if I'm even right? cos i really want a subcage, cant afford one but thought I might sent them a clip to try my luck..... anyone know?? :YEAH it was on the website a short while ago, but can't find it now so guessing they might have stopped that

 

Its in the center of the page. It flashes crash cage video contest. Its for a bar, but we can do a subcage also. Lets see what youve got.

 

Its not an amazing crash, but without the sick cage I'd need a new engine casing, magneto and so on, so even if I don't win a subcage (which I really want ) i'm still glad I invested in a sick cage... I am the only person in England with an f4i sick innovations cage too I believe a fair few people bought some after seeing me fall off lots without even brakin a lever.... :YEAH erm, end of the butt kissing now

Just found the bit on your site, don't know how I missed it! noticed that you need a close up of the cage, fortunately we did film the bike close up whilst parked after it! so I will edit that into the clip and post it up later today :YEAH got to go back to college now, so will be a few hours... cheers!

Ian, vid is here, having looked again I didn't have much crash footage at all, just 1 good drop and a couple of low sides... I lowside all the time, like 10 times an hour at least (circles to the left are a bitch) so I can get more footage easily... heres a clip though. Scrape went wonky cos my subframe is bent, it scrapes ok if I tap it but draging for anything more than a second send its sideways.

Do I get extra marks for the sick logo at the beginning? I can send it in higher quality/without the editing etc if you do want to use it on your site.

 

I like mine, it works pretty well. SI makes really good stuff

Is anyone using the fixed peg subcage? looks a lot beefier and bigger pegs, I find the stock pegs really akward, feels too far in, does the sick cage stick out further with a better footing etc like it looks in the pics?

Highchair o's are nuts, crashing them out must be a pain... I am low siding 6/10 circles to the left at the minute and the odd SS circle.. but highchair must be scary as theres no way of bailing out?

I wish I got it on video when I rode into some metal railings, it hit the cage head on and dragged it down the railings, ******* crazy but the cage held up perfectly. :YEAH

SI has the fixed pegs and they feel really good, esp. on circles and such, the peg stays solid and doesn't move, plus, it does stick out and act like a slider if you were to drop it
