Thats true too. It is a fine line though. Sure, why not get the insurance company to pay for your wreck when your hand brake dont work but at the same time if everyone did this we would all see our premiums go up like crazy.

All I can think of for now.

Parts are just starting to come in now... and I have all winter to rebuild the bike. Runs tho, so all just in the details and the paint...

Paint.... Any ideas? Picked up the lower and low/mid plastics... so those, tank, headlight, and tail are areas I have to work with. For 60 bucks, I went with some lower plastics, rather than going completely naked.

You ain't alone bro. I broke my tailbone and that night at about 2 in the morning when I got home, I got caught by the "wife" kneeled (cuz i couldnt sit for 6 ****** weeks!) in front of the computer ebaying it up! My bike was up and running before I was.

 

my buddy got a brand new fi cage for his 929 and it broke the stator cover on the first crash so go with powers or si but not an fi they are junk

 

That side has been a problem since day 1 for me... some welding done... fried my stater once... etc...

Anyone 2nd this opinion?

Powers is the friggin huge cage isnt it?

your both wimps superstunna has broken the same leg three times and one or two of them were compound fractures and he has been knocked out a few times and concused a few times and he was out stunting while he still had all the rods and **** sticking out of his leg .....lol

i tried to find a pic or an xray of his leg when he had all those rods sticking out of it ...lol

it was some type of traction or some thing but it was a bunch of metal rods that came out through the skin and they bolted to another bar on the out side of his leg ,it looked like some thing you would see in a horror flick...lol

 

separated shoulder worst I've had, from a tank slapper landing 3rd gear, so I would add a steering damper to your list, and scratch the Nissan 1/2" MC for a radial MC like a Brembo 16x18. FI 12 bars are good but their cages suck.... So you had bike insurance but no medical insurance? seems a little backwards. Might want to add medical insurance to your list

ouch , alot of pins in yer leg ....well you should probably better go off to smaller bike like 600 than riding big bike again and risk yourself again so you wouldnt want that happen it just my two cents.

yeah SI is the best market out there with reasonable price and BEEFY cage for sure man.

 

def. get other cage than fi, at least for a 929, loop kept flexin and crackin the stator cover.
