I didn't take it as you were saying anything bad
just givin more info than I prolly needed to

I was real happy with my SI cage (and especially the round bar he sent me! both had an awesome powdercoat finish!)
I can't help but be real happy with this cage either, its withstood hard pancakes, slides,.....and now a cartwheel at 60!

Gonna have to cut the right side of the cage off, straighten it a bit, then weld it back on again. Then I think it'll be all good.

Having more trouble finding a radiator right now than anything. Might have to beat it back straight and plate a couple ares on it and pray it doesn't leak!

Damn Dillen, spend one weekend playing errand boy for my wife and trying to entertain two fools from Oklahoma and this is what I come back to??

I was so pissed that I didn't even get out to ride at all this weekend, and now it looks like a while before we'll be hitting the lots at the same time again. What is your estimated down time this time? Now we can have some time to do the deal on my gixxer maybe too.

And I'm glad you weren't hurt too bad. I saw you do one of those really fast that day your old lady was there that got a bit sketchy. We looked at eachother and she said that she doesn't like that trick.... hahaha
I'm really glad you weren't hurt!

PLEASE! I already got a rear wheel off ebay comin....a minty 06 rim! woohoo
I borrowed one of Andy's spares rear wheels, and gonna see if I can borrow a tank(he's got a spare bike and my old tank there) and I think we're gonna paint the rims, tank, a new tail, and some new side fairings I picked up, so I'll be rockin his rim and maybe even my current front one if I can get it to hold air (otherwise it might have to sit a lil while).....time to break out the rubber mallet and jb weld! (I guess it doesn't NEED air in it, hardly ever touches the ground anyways! )

I'm gonna see if Andy will take me to see his paint guy this week to get plenty of white, a lil black, and some kandy red....I smacked my head on the ground a bit and had a vision....a new paint scheme!

I'll be back going in no time.....AND on a pretty bike!

they were ugly as hell (clearance $7!!!!!), but comfy!

I've gotten good at escaping injury in crashes.....comes with experience!

here's one thing I've noticed tho......there must be ALOT of bike theives, cause there are plenty of bikes getting parted out, and plenty of parts, but a severe lack of ignitions for sale.....THAT HAVE A KEY!

I might be beating my ignition out to get riding again, gonna have to carry the title in the truck if I do that, popo arund here have a hardon for guys sport bikes.....****!

Re: is crashing with a cage still expensive???

Judo rolls? Holy **** I don't know why that is so funny to me right now, I can hardly type.... wow ****...
....more like jelly rolls!! hahhahaha.

Baking with GRanny in the kitchen! That was some funny stuff.

All I can think of is Austin Powers ... "JUDO CHOP!" hahahahahahahahaha

Seriously though, I don't know from judo, but I remember from a long time ago learning that there are like 7 or 9 or something energies that the chinese martial arts teach in one style, like redirecting, absorbing, continuing...ect ect. if you take the energy from anything and can move with it, or continue with it, basically controlling it, then eventually some outside force will bring it to an end and achieve balance without effort from you. Or you can redirect it to use it to your advantage. By doing nothing. Basically just capturing the energy and staying loose (cuz to be rigid is to be closer to death...Lao Tzu, Art of War) and continuing the energy or, working with it, you are achieving balance.
Through nothing you achieve your goal. Very Taoistic, but basically I think it's everyones "holy ****" instinct/philosophy that kicks in and says roll with it dumb ***! When something on my body hooks in a long slide for me is when I am rolling in a high speed crash either on a skateboard or my bike, but during a small get off or somin I always try and roll with it too.... I don't know anyone who doesn't... That's my on adding an eastern philosophy aspect to good crashing form.... I think eazy summed it up well earlier when he said that it comes from experience ...

I was surprised that your hands didn't get anymore torn up than they did tho bro, but I haven't seen in person yet. Going now to try and find a new trailer tire so, that I can come over this weekend and gear my gixxer..... see if you can grab that welder or whatever.... How's Sunday sound??

myspace sukka.....
