why the sky is blue
The blue color of the sky is due to Rayleigh scattering. As light moves through the atmosphere, most of the longer wavelengths pass straight through. Little of the red, orange and yellow light is affected by the air.
However, much of the shorter wavelength light is absorbed by the gas molecules. The absorbed blue light is then radiated in different directions. It gets scattered all around the sky. Whichever direction you look, some of this scattered blue light reaches you. Since you see the blue light from everywhere overhead, the sky looks blue. As you look closer to the horizon, the sky appears much paler in color. To reach you, the scattered blue light must pass through more air. Some of it gets scattered away again in other directions. Less blue light reaches your eyes. The color of the sky near the horizon appears paler or white.
why the sun is yellow and outer space is black
On Earth, the sun appears yellow. If you were out in space, or on the moon, the sun would look white. In space, there is no atmosphere to scatter the sun's light. On Earth, some of the shorter wavelength light (the blues and violets) are removed from the direct rays of the sun by scattering. The remaining colors together appear yellow. Also, out in space, the sky looks dark and black, instead of blue. This is because there is no atmosphere. There is no scattered light to reach your eyes.
why the sunset is red
As the sun begins to set, the light must travel farther through the atmosphere before it gets to you. More of the light is reflected and scattered. As less reaches you directly, the sun appears less bright. The color of the sun itself appears to change, first to orange and then to red. This is because even more of the short wavelength blues and greens are now scattered. Only the longer wavelengths are left in the direct beam that reaches your eyes. The sky around the setting sun may take on many colors. The most spectacular shows occur when the air contains many small particles of dust or water. These particles reflect light in all directions. Then, as some of the light heads towards you, different amounts of the shorter wavelength colors are scattered out. You see the longer wavelengths, and the sky appears red, pink or orange

Re: All Q? Answerd
this is a good thread and all but the fact remains that the newbies dont read **** before posting. they're not gonna waste their time reading this when they can make a whole new thread thats been discussed 10 times every day...
Re: All Q? Answerd
my thought behind this thread was to make it alittle easier on eveyone, meaning that hopefully if some one was just starting out and has some Q? they should look in here....and hopefully other people put their feelings on certian product, specs,do's and dont's,mod's etc.
we all had to start some where, but who am i,( i am beginner who just feels that with the knowledge from some riders with expierence it can help the sport..and help someone not get hurt.................
i know theres alot of people who are only out to say **** and dont want to help some one,and because someone comes on here with a Q? thats been answerd too many times and get a bunch of stupid comments isnt helping anyone,!!! look at it like this ...the person who was just told ( **** off noob squid haha retard ) goes out and tries the new hb,but didnt know how to bleed it the propper way, and goes to grab it and theres nothing there,(bang) now hes really hurt, broken etc just cause you felt not like taking the 2 min to help, instead you took 20 min to bash.....
dont get me wrong there are plenty off real squids out there that are reckless and dont give two **** about the people hes riding with and is all about him self (hahaha that was me wheeling at 120mph) kind off guy...and they derseve a *** kicking....but im sure you can tell the difference in these 2 different type of people, some one like just stated would not take the time to come on here a ask for help.....
again though this is just my opinion
with everyones help there will be less bs ,and more videos and dope flix.....

Re: All Q? Answerd
your bike is red because it it absorbs ever other color besides red , this is why you see the color red and this is the same for ever other color you see and yes even grass
