Advice on coaching friend....

How do I tell my roommate/friend that his front wheel coming 5 inches off of the ground does not mean he's riding a wheelie, without him crying and going home and killing himself?

Re: Advice on coaching friend....

I've been nice about it a few times but everytime we go ride he'll get it up a few inches, then he wants to stop and ask me if he was getting better. I've told him over and over that it's gonna take a lot of practice, but I guess I'm just gonna have to bitch up and tell him he sucks. HA

Yea. He's got a 06 GSXR 600 and he kept saying that it wouldn't do it. He ordered a -1 sprocket for the front and thought that was gonna make him the ****. I guess I'm just gonna have to buy him a wheelie button. He'll love that! :YEAH

Re: Advice on coaching friend....

I've got video of it. He's seen himself. The funny thing is, after he saw the video he went and spent like $500 and bought cages and subframe cage. He's a "stunter" now. And that's a quote from him. . I hate this place. I need to move out of this town.

Re: Advice on coaching friend....

I would just stop hanging out with him...that **** gets annoying LOL "had" a friend who raced and every time we were out he'd want to carve corners and after every curve he'd pull up and ask if I saw how far he leaned over...I just wanted to kick his bike over

If hes asking you if it looks like hes getting better, hes wanting to learn. Sounds like video of you guys all riding together would be the way to go. He can see how he is doing compared to everyone else. It should be obvious to him then. When he sees it he will probably want to try harder.lol
