Oil question
How much oil should I put in my 2005 R1 if I am stunting my bike? I have only been putting in the amount that my manual tells me to put in. I heard 4 qts and not the 3.3qts. So which one is it? Re: Oil question
The Manual is for a regular bike, that means nothing when dealing with stunt bike. When stunting you wanna put in at least 5 quarts. If you change the oil filter go 5.5 quarts. Some ppl even go 6 quarts if it'll fit without spilling out the engine, but they prolly use thin oil and an aftermarket oil filter
Re: Oil question
this is the worst advice i have ever read on stuntlife....
Run what the manual calls for and add .5 more n thats it.. yamahas have a stacked transmissions.. after riding a few wheelies check your dip stick or sight glass to see if theres any foam. if u got foam... u added to much.
