After I set down a 1st gear slower speed stand-up I noticed my bike was blowing alot of gray/white smoke out of the pipe. I had been doing 1st gear wheelies for about 15-20 minutes back and forth at the spot and a few were held at higher RPMs for up to 15 seconds or so. What could have happened? I let it sit for awhile and it seems the smoke has stopped, but I will have to inspect it tomorrow during the day. Btw the bike is a '03 GSXR600.

 

oil in the airbox...?

 

high revs whipping the oil up into a froth which gets sucked out the crankcase breather into your airbox. Do the pair mod and/or don't rev so high.

Thanks guys! I was very afraid I toasted the motor....I thought the rings were shot or something along those lines from oil starvation at high rpms.

 

Actually I believe I already did the PAIR mod....I'll have to look tomorrow to double check since I cant remember. If I did the PAIR mod does that mean the smoke may be from something else? Thanks again for any suggestions.

if you did the pair mod then it will smoke once in a while thats normal

but if it is smoking from just slow wheelies then you probably have too much oil in the bike

my pipe got a bottle full of downy last trip and to guys got a bottle full of **** lol

my pipe smelled good but going down the highway it looked like my motor was gonna sieze or some **** lol
