that is correct and the master won't let the pressure from the foot brake bleed back to the hand brake and visa virsa

Re: POOR MANs HANDBRAKE ADAPTER

+1 old man roger...

so its as simple as an adapter to connect the handbrake hose to the reservoir entrance on the rear master???

Its amazingly easy... i thought it was some kind of rocket science experiment or some alien tecnology...

I let you guys a pic of my project bike... its a suzuki gs (ig youve seen anyone stunt one of these please send pics, vids or contact me)...pretty much like a honda cb500, main difference are monoshock rear, looks better and 52hp
the rear master is "honda type" according to fullthrottle page so i think i wont have any troubles making my handbrake adapter..

Re: POOR MANs HANDBRAKE ADAPTER

I had two rear masters welded together instead of using an adapter works great, no chance of leakage

My idea is to replace the hollow bolt that bolts to the footbrake master for a longer one that allows making a sandwich with the handbrake and caliper lines...

Re: POOR MANs HANDBRAKE ADAPTER

ya, you have to adapt to the resevour hole. if you double banjo the lines then when you press either brake it will push the fluid up into the resevour of the opposite system....so basically no brake pressure.

Re: POOR MANs HANDBRAKE ADAPTER

You could also order it from gp tech or go the easier way and use the dual caliper set up if its a suzuki get another rear bracket cut both in half and weld em together. Either way they all work.
