Re: whats the best master for hb?

the magura is nice, my team mate runs one on his supermoto.

I run the beringer on my SMR heard of a few people rockin the beringer clutch master for a HB but they are $$$ my front brake master was $500 but it is also pimp as hell 12mm full CNC anodized aluminum. The pivots ride on 3 ball bearings its smooth as hell pretty much what all your top AMA supermoto racers are running.

Cant go wrong with a brembo either, also on my buddies R6 I put on a 03-04 non-radial master for the HB and it was ****. Fit fine with the stock clip ons too.

Motostrano.com has the magura for $240 also free shipping on orders over $100 and 5% discount if you sign up as a member of supermotojunkie.com...

If you don't want to spend the $200 somthing on the brembo 16x18 the next best thing is the cbr1000RR master. In my thread about the 1000RR master somone said they sold there brembo for the 1000RR.

one of my boys has that thing.... it's a total piece of crap.

the clutch is waaaaaay too short and mounted too far right to get a good 2 finger clutch/brake on the end of each lever.

plus u cant adjust the space between the clutch and brake on the bar itself.

the thing was a good idea... but not well thought out... BREMBO + MOOSE = THE best your money can buy.

Dont waste your time tryin a cheap solution when your only going to end up buyin the real deal sooner or later.

Re: whats the best master for hb?

dude, if you haven't used a handbrake yet you won't know the difference. throw anything on it right now and get used to a handbrake for a month or so then worry about which one you like.

do people not try things out for themselves anymore these days? you'd be surprised how different things feel to you compaired to what other people feel.
