Re: 06 636 cage

Another thread about what cage should I buy Granted that there is some good information in this one, but come on now use the search. I have a Powers cage and I'm happy with it, but it's taken some extremely hard hits and I've worn it out. Now I'm going to make my own cage next since I already have a shop that I can use and I'm going to make it out of chrommoly so it'll be indestructable. And this way I can't cry about why my cage doesn't work right or why it's taking so long to ship because it'll be my own fault.

the question though was about an 06 636 cage not an f4i, cuz as we all know diff cages work better on different bikes.

Re: 06 636 cage

I used to be a MXD/SI fan untill I just got 2 Tyger Shark cages about a week ago...

Tyger shark is the **** hands down :YEAH I got 03/04 and 05/06 636 cages and nothing Ive seen to date compares to the design or quality! Pitched my bike at speed the other night bike hit one side and bounced over to the other side....Nothing broke! Not even my tail section or upper fairing! Cage didnt even budge and spring loaded sliders barely even got scratched...

No cutting holes in your lowers, and no cage shifting! No bitch *** 1" diameter sliders, but real beafy spring loaded ones instead...Rigidity because of solid bar not hollow tube seems to be the key

I got the CJ3's(3 bars) which is even stronger then the Apex(2bars), probably overkill but I wreak hard so I wanted the toughest...

I also installed one for a freind on a 05 600RR, the Honda cages are always nice because the motor mounts are so close together that the cages stay very small and compact.....

PS the chick Lisa I think it was that works there is very good too, best customer service Ive gotten in the stunt industry so far...Answered Emails very promptly and even left messages on my cell, letting me know the cages where shipping that day and gave me the tracking #'s ....

search isnt workin and you ride a f4i not a 636 so this thread shouldnt even concern you other than knowledge factor

was gonna get that one till i called and asked if indeed it was the strongest and they guy that builds them told me the apex was the strongest but also the haviest, the tubes in the cj3 are thinner making the apex able to actually handle more abuse, contrary to wats written on there site but ill take the builders word for it so i got the apex!!

Thats fucked up and I wish they told me that, I think the Apex looks better and would have gotten that instead if I didnt think the CJ3 was stronger Doenst really matter thou cause I dont see this thing falling apart any time soon anyways, and it looks better installed then I expected....Which reminds me about something no one has mentioned yet, Tygershark comes with a life time warrenty:YEAH

Re: 06 636 cage

only thing concerns me is i havent heard ALOT about them. I havent heard anything bad about them but the only reason i like the sic cage is the bike hardly gets touched...im talking plastics are still good and not rashed up.

Can i expect this from a tiger cage?
