i need someone who's by their bike whether it be a 929, a 954, or an f4i w/ a 929/954 fork setup to run out and take a pic of the bottom side of the bottom tripple clamp where the steering neck is pressed in.... i need this becaus i had to have the f4i race put on and the neck on mine wasn't pressed down all the way so i cant get the front end back together.... someone PLEASE post up something tonight so i can press it at work (where i wont be able to get on SL to see then)

 

ok so from what i've seen on ebay it looks like it IS as far as its supposed to be but the uppe race is still setting too high in the top part of the neck.... anyone else ever have this problem?

Very bottom between the forks where the steering comes all the way down. Hope thats the right spot, IF not, let me know

 

thats the right spot.... how deep is the steering neck into the tripple.... like how far from being flush.... are you running the roller or ball bearings.... i'm running ball if that makes ay differance

 

1/4 inch from being flush. And that pretty damn exact, LoL...=-)
