I bouht a 929 front wheel ith rotors and recieved a 1000rr wheel auctio said wheel is in great shape with no dents and straight rotors. Got the wheel stupid thing has multiple bends in the lips and pretty much is crap. I opened payal case and this is dudes response to my case

MY Case

I bid on copied directly from Item listing
"HONDA CBR 929RR, CBR 929
THIS RIM IS IN GREAT CONDITION!! NO DENTS!!
THE ROTORS ARE STRAIGHT!!
LOW MILEAGE PART!!"
Recieved a front wheel for a different bike all together and the wheel is bent in multiple places
I want either a "great condition 929 wheel with straight rotors" like discribed or a complete refund

Aear Adam,
We would like to take the time to get down to the root of the problem. You purchased a used front rim for a sport bike. A brand new one costs over $600.00 from Honda, and over 450.00 on ebay new. the rim you purchased was only $150.00. It even came with rotors, and wheel bearings. please note, that this e-mail, as well as, all your comments reguarding your dispute have been forwarded to our business lawyer, as well as to pay-pal's dispute resolution department. The fact of the matter is that your making an attempt to get over on us. We do apologize for your dis-satiSfaction, however, prior to us shipping the product, your were send an option of which rim you wanted: the Honda 1000RR, or Honda 954RR front rim. (both front rims we had for sale fit all 3 of Honda' s liter bikes, the cbr 929, cbr 954 & cbr 1000). We would like to make a jesture of good faith and send you a free $25.00 tank pad, w/free shipping once your payment is re-reversed, and is back in our account. Please note that the used rim holds air, and drive's straight & is 100% operational. It conforms to all D.O.T. safety standards

What can I do to get my $ back from this D' Bag

Re: Ripped off on E-Gay

If you open up a dispute on PayPal it will lock his account up until it gets resolved. I had mine locked up over a 10 dollar t-shirt that was apparently smaller than described. It was complete BS and it fucked me over for a good summer's worth of parts selling.

Open a dispute, get his account locked until a resolution occurs.

Re: Ripped off on E-Gay

I hope this isnt the auction you are talking about because you can easily see the dent in the pic. Why would anyone bid on that, but then again he lied saying there are no dents when there is. You should be able to get your money back. Next time look at the pics.

Re: Ripped off on E-Gay

make sure to stay on top of the paypal claim, and make sure to state the item was misrepresented, also paypal had 200 instant coverage on that item so after a month if he has no money in his paypal to recover, paypal will refund you, also a way to cover yourself is to use a credit card as funding for paypal, this way you have double insurance... now everybody open a bogus ebay account and bid on this assh***'s stuff and don't pay him...... and file bad feedback, that shoul get his attention

Paypal will only rule in your favor if it's an item not recieved dispute.. Not an item not as described dispute.

As a power seller I've yet to have paypal rule in MY favor (the seller) when the buyer files as "item arrived significantly different than described" in 4 years and a few thousand transactions. Only a handful of part-swapper disputes, but I lost them all so far.

Paypal offers excellent buyer protection, but **** sellers, the ones they take the fees from, it's bullshit.

Anyways, back to the topic, file a dispute, escalate it to a claim. Paypal will place a hold on the funds, after a couple weeks you will get your money back, but you will have to ship the wheel back to get the refund. You will need to use a service with a tracking #.

Done this MANY times, have yet to lose my money.

What he said about the credit card. Pay with a credit card for all future transactions and dispute the charge with them. They WILL rule in your favor and tell paypal to get fucked, paypal, not a real bank, will then rule in your favor.

Re: Ripped off on E-Gay

As a seller, Paypal sucks and ALWAYS rule for the buyer even if it's a false claim. You obviously have a true claim, as the case stands now that he's responded you should have another chance to respond. Call Paypal, fax pics of the bends, keep the case open let Paypal come to a decision and you will get a full refund. His account is not locked right now, but it's limited which is screwing him bigtime if he's sells a lot. After you've faxed proof, choose 'decide to quit communication with seller' Paypal will begin to look over your case. Only thing that sucks is its takes up to 30 days. 45 days for big items like cars etc..

But you are kind of retarded, looking at the auciton you can tell the rim is f'ckd up bad in the pics.

Re: Ripped off on E-Gay

contact better business. so you let them know you've already preparred documentation and photos in order to handle your case appropriately. as a 929 rim was listed a 954 or 1000rr pick and chose option should not have even been offered.

as per ebay's agreement, by them selling and you buying the item you both have entered into a binding contract with eachother, you to pay for the item listed and fr them to send you in return the item listed and described.

Re: Ripped off on E-Gay

Call paypal tell em your story, it'll speed up the process. Here's what they did for me when yzfrone sent me a tire with a hole in it.

I called paypal instead of waiting 4 months for the resolution ****. Told em, homeboy sent me a tire with a hole in it, I want my money back. Paypal had me send back the tire with delivery confirmation. The day it got delivered I called paypal and they looked up the delivery confirmation and I got my money back. I could have sent a box of rocks and paypal would have never known.
