I know I ll need video camera but what kind of software programs should I get for editing , add some names on video if you know what i meant....isnt there anything else on tigerdirect.com has one cuz I have credit from that company. help brutha out ...i m gettin sick of pictures

you have 4gb of ram ill assume because 4gb of space is not near enough to do much...if your serious about a decent length clip and using good software you will need a couple hundered so you can stock pile clips and have room for all your software.... imo adobe premier pro 2.0 is the best for pc because it is easily compatible with every other adobe program....right now you may only want to edit a clip and then render it as a movie file...but soon you may want more and adobe makes that easy....exporting and importing files from photoshop into your project in premier or encore or whatever...adobe covers almost everything you would ever want to do with multimedia...its easy to use too.

Now I own my nice 15" macbook pro 2.16 Core 2 duo 2GB ram and 100gb hard drive
I am using final cut and will never go back to editing on a PC. I see a mac desktop in my future once I get home from iraq.

Adobe Premiere cs3 is what i am using now, its kinda not very fun if yo dont know what you are doing. I would sugest usin an ealier vesion of Premiere, much more user friendy!!!

i think ur thinking about regular memory used to save stuff....
How much was it? hows the features....is it only the BEta or full version
